Out of space!

Oops! I ran outta space for uploading photos. :x I know I haven't really been updating and all, but year ends is a really busy time for me. Recently I've been shooting for friends' birthdays but I haven't got the chance to write a post.

Now that I can do one, I've been told that I ran out of space for uploading photos. I don't have the budget to pay for the storage, so I'll see what I can do. :(

Dark & Light

Initially, I wanted to do an angel shoot. Dark angel and Light angel. Unfortunately, that would require wings, which would require money to purchase and I can't afford that. So I decided to go with a theme of 'Dark & Light' instead. I got two of my friends to help me out, Joanna (light model) and Marissa (dark model). Thank you both so much for walking in soft soil & sinking in, enduring the swarm of houseflies and getting your shoes wet to help me get these shots. <3

I Met A Fairy!

Since it's Halloween month, might as well play dress up? Haha! This is a fairy-inspired shoot I did with my friend, Carmen. I just had to play around with make-up and take some shots. I did have some major problems with most of the photos as I was shooting in my estate. Many of them have buildings in the background, that's why I only uploaded 3 here.

Strings Blended IX

First time I'm attending a guitar concert. My friend YanXin was performing so I went to support her. It was not bad an experience actually. Anyway, I was sitting at the third row so there were people in front of me. Lucky for me, YanXin sat directly in front of me and I was able to take her photo through the gap between two people in front of me. 

Jessica & Mark

This is the first couple shoot I've ever done! Most of the shots are composed by the couple themselves. I really had no idea on how to get the them to pose. I did do prior research on couple poses beforehand, but somehow shooting it is quite different. Hopefully with more practice, the next shoot will be better.

Marissa

Meet my friend Marissa! We were just having some fun with the water. I like the dress she's wearing! It gives this dreamy feel to the photo. 

Through the sunglasses

The first two photos were taken on the same day while the last one on another day. These were taken from Marina Barrage. Sunglasses shots. Pretty cool right!

Carmen

Meet my friend from secondary school, Kai Wen, also known as Carmen. She's a really fun and lively girl who is capable of  doing crazy poses. But that what makes the whole session enjoyable. 

JOANNE

Meet Joanne, my friend from JC. We used each alphabet of her name to represent her and this is what we came up with.

 J: JOVIAL

Joanne told me she's jovial when she's at home. And this was taken at her house.

 O: O BLOOD

Joanne's blood type is O and to represent the blood, we used a vampirish look for the photo.

 A: A+

Joanne is a fan of Mblaq, a Korean boyband, and their fans call themselves A+.

 N: NOTHING BUT PINK

Pink is Joanne's favourite colour.

 N: NOTORIOUSLY QUIET

Joanne is known to be quiet. Really really quiet. She's shy around strangers or people she isn't close to. Also, she has a gentle and soft voice which makes it difficult to hear her.

E: E.L.F.

Super Junior's fans are known as Ever Lasting Friends, E.L.F. And Joanne is one of them.

Marina Barrage

This is actually my second visit to Marina Barrage and during my first visit I only went to a shelter to have a picnic, so I actually have not explored the place. My friends, Yan Xin and Jessica, and myself went there to take some photos. And here are what we got! :)

This is Jessica!

This photo is composed by my other friend, YanXin, she suggested using fingers to make a frame and the photo came out pretty good I would say.

 

The recent trend in levitation shots prompted us to give it a try. Its really just for fun, so its obviously not a perfect levitation shot.

The Golden Hour always does give amazing colours. The sun was setting, giving this warm yellowish glow and we were walking towards it. I noticed that the shadows from those people walking in front of me and thought it would make an interesting photo. So I got Yan Xin and Jessica to walk ahead of me.

I decided to try using a softer tone on the photo, but I still prefer the one above with the strong and harsh colours.
